Most kitchen renovations go sideways at the hand-offs — between the designer, the cabinet supplier and whoever installs. We remove those hand-offs. Custom Kitchen Empire designs your renovation, manufactures the cabinetry in-house, coordinates the stone and hardware, and installs everything with our own crew. Frequently asked questions

How long does a custom kitchen renovation take?

From the signed design, cabinetry manufacturing typically takes several weeks, followed by an on-site installation window of one to two weeks for most kitchens. Because we build ahead to a fixed install date, the disruptive on-site portion is kept as short as possible. Your exact timeline is confirmed in your quote.

Do I need to move out during the renovation?

No. Most clients stay in their homes. We seal off the work area, protect floors and pathways, and coordinate trades to minimise disruption. We will also help you plan a temporary kitchen setup for the install window.

Can you move plumbing, electrical or walls?

Yes. As a full design-and-build studio we coordinate the licensed trades needed to relocate plumbing and electrical, and can work with your contractor or ours for structural changes such as removing a wall to open up the space.

Will my renovation need a permit?

Cosmetic kitchen updates usually do not require a permit, but electrical, plumbing and structural changes often do, depending on your municipality. We will flag what your project needs and coordinate the required inspections.
